PRIVACY NOTICE

How I handle your information

Last updated: 19 October 2026

SwiftMarket.ai is a trading name of Peter Bond, who is the data controller for information collected through this website. This notice explains what I collect, why, and what you can ask me to do with it. If anything is unclear, email hello@swiftmarket.ai.

What I collect

When you send a message through the contact form, I receive your name, your email address, your business name if you give it, the service you picked and your message. If you email me directly, I receive whatever you include in that email.

If you are a market insights client, the client portal asks you to sign in. Sign-in is handled by Auth0, which processes your login email and password on my behalf so that only you can see your reports.

Why I use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and, if you ask, to prepare a quote. The lawful basis is the steps you have asked me to take before we agree any work, and my legitimate interest in answering people who contact me.
  • To deliver work we have agreed, including putting reports in your client portal. The lawful basis is our contract.
  • To keep the business records the law requires, such as invoices. The lawful basis is legal obligation.

I don’t sell your information, I don’t add you to a mailing list unless you ask to be added, and I don’t use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

The website and its email are hosted by my web hosting company. Auth0 provides the client portal sign-in. Each acts on my instructions under its own data protection terms.

Cookies and tracking

The public pages of this site don’t use analytics, advertising cookies or third-party fonts. The client portal uses the cookies that its sign-in needs to keep you logged in.

How long I keep it

I keep enquiries for up to two years so I can pick up a conversation where we left off, then delete them. If we work together, I keep project and invoice records for six years after the work ends, as tax rules require.

Your rights

You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, and ask me to correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email hello@swiftmarket.ai and I’ll reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how I have handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
